Objective of the Unit 

The objective of the Examination Unit is to coordinate, administer, monitor, and ensure the effective, efficient, transparent, and secure management of examinations and assessment processes for students, in accordance with the College’s vision, mission, academic regulations, and strategic plan. In particular, the Unit aims to: 

Administer examinations effectively, efficiently, and professionally, ensuring the timely preparation, coordination, conduct, marking, processing, and release of examination results in accordance with approved academic regulations and procedures. 

Develop and strengthen collaboration with academic, administrative, and supporting departments, as well as relevant institutions, to promote effective coordination, information sharing, compliance, and best practices in examination administration and management. 

Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and security of examinations, by maintaining proper control of examination materials, student records, examination scripts, results, and other assessment-related information throughout the examination process. 

Ensure fair, transparent, and accessible assessment services, by providing appropriate examination arrangements and support to all eligible students, including students with special needs, in accordance with institutional policies and regulations. 

Enhance institutional productivity and service delivery, through strengthening examination management systems, improving the accuracy and timely processing of examination results, minimizing errors and delays, and supporting effective academic decision-making. 

Support quality assurance and continuous improvement in assessment, by monitoring compliance with examination regulations, maintaining proper examination records, addressing examination-related challenges, and providing timely reports and recommendations to relevant academic and administrative authorities.
