Civil Engineering department is under College of Engineering and Technology (CET) at Mbeya
University of Science and Technology (MUST). The department provides short and long courses to
increase skills and knowledge in Civil Engineering activities. The department invites applicantions for
short course in LABOUR BASED TECHNOLOGY which will be conducted in Mwanza from 31 st May
to 18 th June 2021

Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to Construct and maintain earth and gravel roads, stone and cement concrete
pavement, drainages, maintain bituminous roads, prepare and fill the Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and
adhere safety procedures.
